Our journey began in 2005 in outer suburban Melbourne with the simple but pivotal purchase of 10 mechanical machines by director Bill Prattis. From humble beginnings—operating out of a bedroom in the family home—BD Vending has grown into one of the state’s most trusted and respected names in vending solutions.

Beyond the business, family and community remain at the heart of who we are. Bill is a proud father of three boys who enjoys the simple things—fishing when he gets the chance, backing the mighty Pies, and spending quality time on weekends with his wife, sons, and family dog.

Bill is also a passionate supporter of grassroots junior sport, both on and off the field. With over 10 years of experience coaching basketball and football teams, Bill is dedicated to helping young people build confidence, connection, and a strong sense of community. This commitment continues today, with BD Vending proudly supporting the Rowville Knights Football Club as a major sponsor and giving back to the communities that have supported us. We champion local organisations and the sporting clubs that keep communities thriving.
